One-on-one coaching and team workshops

AI training in Asheville
for businesses and individuals

Private sessions for the owner who wants to use AI in the business themselves, and workshops that bring a whole team up to speed. Bring what is in front of you: something you want to build, a tool that is not doing what you asked, or a process you want to understand better. Beginners are genuinely welcome.

What is an AI concierge?

Two private, screen-shared sessions a month, plus support when you get stuck between them.

You bring the question, the tool, or the business problem in front of you. We work through it in your accounts, around your agenda.

The calls are for taking time to think something through, build it, fix it, or decide what to leave alone. Voxer is for support in-between sessions: a tool stops making sense, something breaks, or you need a second set of eyes before a small problem turns into a two-week stall.

The goal is a useful next step or something that works—and a clearer sense of how to keep using it after we are done.

AI

I can help with that. First, I need to know which inquiries matter, where leads go, who approves replies, and what counts as a booked call.

Something needs your attention

This cannot be set up until those decisions are clear.

I don't know where to start.

Ask a follow-up

What can we work on together?

There is no fixed curriculum. We start with what is in front of you.

Fix or build

Something you are stuck on

Bring a skill, automation, chatbot, or workflow that almost does what you wanted. We open it up together, find where it goes wrong, and decide whether to fix it, simplify it, or start over. You can also bring the idea you want to turn into something real.

Extend

Something I built with you before

Every build comes with 90 days of service. The system stays in your account and remains yours after handoff. If you later want a repair, change, extension, or help using it, I scope that as paid work. One-on-one AI coaching is available when you want help working with what you own, but you do not need it to keep the build running.

What happens when something you built isn't working?

Sometimes the first version gets you close—but close is not the same as useful. Here is what it looks like to bring something back, find the missing piece, and make it yours again.

01

A designer I work with built herself a skill to write blog articles. It ran, and the writing came out generic and off-voice, not worth publishing.

02

We rebuilt it together. The fix was a human-in-the-loop step: she drives the research and steers the voice, and the skill drafts around her input.

03

Now she produces her content with it herself. It lives in her account, and I'm not in the loop anymore.

That's the version of this I want for everyone who sits down with me.

AI is already part of the conversation in Western North Carolina. But experimenting with a tool and using it well are different things. Most owners are still deciding where it fits, what to trust, and how to use it without losing the human parts of their business.

What happens in a team AI workshop?

I come to your business and teach your people in person, for sixty to ninety minutes, on a tool or task that matters to the team.

We work through office work, writing, follow-up, or another task that eats the week, with the tools open in front of us. Everyone leaves having done the thing, not just heard about it. Workshops are $350–$500 and can be booked on their own.

One-on-one

AI concierge

Two 45-minute screen-shared sessions each month, for whatever you are trying to get done. Between calls, Voxer gives you a way to get unstuck without waiting for the next session. I answer within 12 business hours.

For a group

Team workshop

A 60 to 90 minute session for your team or a small group. Pick a tool or a task; everyone leaves able to use it. Book it on its own, no assessment needed.

$350–$500

Most people come to the one-on-one after we've already worked together: an assessment, a report, or a build. But you don't have to. If you want to start here, you can.

Who will be teaching you?

In my academic career, I taught philosophy and introductory Chinese at the college level. Both meant taking unfamiliar material apart, making it clear, and helping people use it for themselves.

Then I spent more than 25 years running a company and building the systems that kept it moving. That is why I come at AI as a business owner. I do not start with the technology; I start with what needs to get done.

When we sit down, the question is not “What can this tool do?” It is “What would make this part of the business easier, clearer, or more useful?” Then we work out how to make that happen.

What people ask before booking.

How much does AI training cost?
Private sessions are $500 a month. That includes two 45-minute video calls and Voxer between sessions. A team workshop is $350 to $500 for 60 to 90 minutes. There are no tiers or long contracts.
What happens between sessions?
If you get stuck, send me a Voxer message—voice or text. I answer within 12 business hours. If the question needs more than a quick answer, we can add another session.
Is AI training for beginners?
Yes. You do not need to know the terminology or arrive with a plan. A lot of people begin having used ChatGPT only for quick questions. We start there.
Do we meet in person or over video?
Private sessions are over video, with your screen shared, so they work wherever you are. Team workshops are in person around Asheville and Western North Carolina.
Which AI tools do you teach?
The ones that make sense for what you are trying to do. I spend most of my time in Claude, including Claude Code and Cowork, and in ChatGPT. But the point is not to make you loyal to a tool. It is to help you use the right one well.
How do I get started?
Book a 30-minute call and tell me what you are trying to do. If it makes sense to work together, we will get you scheduled. You do not need to have it all figured out before you get in touch.
