What I do: AI search visibility, automation, and AI training

Get found by AI AEO, GEO, and local SEO

AI consulting services that help search engines and AI systems understand your business well enough to recommend it. I measure where you're visible, where you're missing, and what to fix first. From there, I develop the content strategy and produce the content that earn citations and mentions in AI answers.

Get work done with AI AI assistants, automations and dashboards

I set up AI assistants that answer routine customer questions, connect Shopify with AI tools, and build dashboards that make the important numbers easier to see. When a voice or phone assistant makes sense, I can help with that too. Builds are client-owned from the start, with 90 days of service included.

Get better at using AI Team training and individual coaching

I train teams and coach individuals one-on-one, from a focused working session to regular monthly calls. Think of it as having an AI concierge: bring the tools and tasks you are actually working with, and I'll help you choose what fits, use it better, and solve problems as they come up.

I automated a business before AI.

Long before the arrival of AI, I spent two decades building and running a national physician-recruitment advertising firm. The business combined targeted advertising, lead generation, sales, national client relationships, websites, contracts, and the systems that kept everything working.

Early adoption of SEO helped make it number one in its niche. Much of the information moving through the business was automated years before AI became a business imperative. That background of operating a company, building its systems, and making it visible online now shapes my AI consulting.

A trainer-level background in Neuro-Linguistic Programming informs the way I teach people to communicate with AI: get clear about the outcome, specify it precisely, and recognize the difference between output that looks impressive and results you can actually use. The aim is straightforward: less confusion, better decisions, and systems people can use with confidence.

"Most businesses don't need a grand AI strategy. They need to be easier to find, easier to run, and better equipped to use the systems they already have."

What AI consulting looks like in practice

Three ways to move from an open question to a measurable outcome: improve visibility, build useful systems, and train your team.

AI visibility dashboard for a client project

Improve visibility

Find the gaps. Fix what matters.

I assess how search engines and AI systems read your business, then fix the clearest problems. That may mean better page language and structure, local signals or schema. The goal is content AI can understand and cite when answering customers.

n8n workflow automation for a client project

Build

Systems that run without you watching them

From AI assistant setup to workflow automation and data dashboards, I build around how your operation already works. Then I check it, because unattended systems fail quietly.

AI training workshops for business teams

Teach

Workshops your team still uses next quarter

AI training for business teams and professional associations. People work on real tasks, learn where the tools help and where they don't, and leave with a way of working that fits the job.

The questions you are probably asking

Every business is different. Most business problems are not.

Why doesn't AI mention my business when customers ask for recommendations?

AI builds its picture of your business from your website and Google Business Profile. It also reads listings, reviews and mentions on other sites. When those signals are incomplete or conflict, AI has little evidence to cite or recommend you.

What does an AI consultant actually do for a small business?

A useful AI consultant starts with the business problem, then determines whether the right answer is better visibility, a workflow improvement, automation, training, or a tool you can use without custom work. My job is to identify the useful move, define it clearly, and help put it into practice.

What is an AI readiness assessment—and does my business need one?

An AI readiness assessment examines how work moves through the business, where it stalls and what systems people use. It makes sense when you know AI could help but do not yet know whether it would save enough work to justify the cost. Mine is a half day inside the business. You leave with the order to do things in. The free AI Readiness Report is the outside-in version of the same question.

Which parts of my business should AI handle—and which should stay human?

Start with intake and follow-up. Then look at scheduling, reports or common questions. AI can handle or assist with repetitive work. People keep the work that calls for judgment or a relationship.

Start with one real problem. See if it makes sense to continue.

Bring one problem to a free 30-minute call. We'll talk it through, see whether I can help, and decide whether a deeper conversation makes sense. If the right next step is a tool you can use yourself, I'll tell you.

Prefer to start in writing? The free outside-in report provides findings only. No repair plan or content strategy.

Get a free report. Find out what you're missing.

Give me enough context to make the findings useful. I'll review what can be seen from outside the business and send a short report: where you appear, where you're missing, and what seems to be in the way.

What would you like me to review?

One report per business website. I read every request myself and reply within a business day. Free reports cover findings; repair plans and content strategy come with the paid assessment.

Start with a 30-minute call.

Based in Asheville and working locally and remotely, I use a 30-minute call to see whether I can help. Email me, or put it on the calendar.

// the fastest way to reach me to: jeff@jbullockgroup.com subject: "how can ai help my business?" expect: { reply: "one business day", call: "30 minutes, if it fits", honesty: "a straight answer" }
A two-line email is plenty.
  • One problem, thirty minutes.Tell me what prompted the call. We are checking the fit, not attempting a full diagnosis.
  • A straight answer on fit.We decide whether a deeper assessment, a scoped project, a workshop, or no further work makes sense.
  • A useful next step.If the right answer is a tool you can use, I'll point you there. If the problem needs deeper analysis, I'll explain what a paid assessment would cover.
